Innogusto is a startup founded in 2018 by Carola and Mattèo Piano with a particular focus on developing gastronomic dishes based on meat substitutes, intending to appeal to absolutely everyone (vegans, vegetarians, flexitarians and meat lovers). The explicit emphasis on gastronomy and taste experience are the key drivers of Innogusto. For Innogusto, great taste is the key to open the door to an era where eating less meat is no longer a trend but an evolution.
Currently, Innogusto holds GastroNoMeat® in its brand portfolio. Innogusto’s go-to-market strategy can best be situated between private label and proprietary label. Different from private labels, Innogusto designs all its products, from recipe to packaging. Innogusto’s approach is marked by starting with the definition of the brand experience, followed by the product design to convert this brand experience and the choice of the right partners to develop the desired product. Innogusto cultivates its products based on six pillars namely: great taste, health, sustainability, responsibility, convenience and inventiveness. For Innogusto, tradition and inventiveness go hand in hand. This is reflected in the minute R&D, where meat substitutes are put under scrutiny to become part of dishes where flavour, structure and juiciness win the hearts of consumers.
GastroNoMeat® offers a range of tasty dishes with a culinary standard on the basis of meat substitutes. We accommodate the taste of vegetarians, vegans and flexitarians. Innogusto is innovative and develops and sells plant based meal components to caterers, restaurants and bistros.
